Abby made it super easy and stress free by meeting with me early, having me fill me out a simple sheet of time, place, and special songs to play. We had an awesome experience with Abby as our DJ! She answered all of our questions and left us worry free for our big day! My maid of honor sang her speech and needed extra microphones. Abby quickly got everything set up for her and ready to go without any issues. Abby was also extremely accommodating in helping her set up to play and sing our first dance song as well. As the dance started, she had people on the floor all through the night with upbeat popular songs. As we were leaving, we were told that our venue had a few “snoozers” the last few weeks and that it was great to see so many on the dance floor having fun. We would highly recommend Abby for any of your DJ needs. She is extremely accommodating, friendly, and FUN!

What a night!!! I met Abby in college marching band about 7 years ago and we were recently reunited at the nuptials of another former band member. I was extremely impressed by the business that Abby has built for herself. She definitely made the wedding one to remember! With only 6 months to plan a wedding, it was just crazy to find a DJ who was reasonably priced and fit our needs! Abby's DJ Service was just the thing! She answered all my questions in a very timely matter! I didn't have to worry about when I was going to get a response because she was right on top of things! Before she even DJ'd for us, she let us pick out our songs we wanted and a list of requests that us a a bride and groom would want to hear that night. She made a playlist ahead of time and was very prepared!She did our reception background music and it was great! Not too loud but just enough to hear it! She has a great selection of music! She was great on making sure we had the microphone when we needed it! Abby kept everyone on the dance floor all night long, and never down! She even made it out to the dance floor herself to have a good time! It was awesome! She was very patient with us, as my dad had to leave to feed our horses and came back fashionably late, to make sure we had a wonderful father/daughter dance! She worked hard on fitting what we wanted and was very flexible the night of our wedding with all the craziness! Thank you again for making our day special! We were looking for a DJ that was reasonably priced, but also one that knew what they were doing. Abby did a wonderful job from the very beginning. We were referred to her and are so happy that we chose her. She was very accommodating to us and met with us when needed. She answered any questions we had throughout the whole process and actually was able to play at our wedding also. When we arrived at our reception hall she was all set up and ready to play music throughout supper time.She was able to get everyone on the dance floor and keep everyone entertained throughout the whole night. Four scrapes. Three blisters. Two pulled calf muscles. And, One heck of a good time! The last of which is guaranteed if you choose Abby Brueggen of Absters DJ Service to DJ your wedding or next event! Abby is a professional from the start and has perfected her skill to its finest. Let me just tell you how amazing she did—from start to finish.

 

First of all, Abby is always prepared. She makes things easy from the get-go. As a bride, you already have enough stress to try to balance in your life (at least I did ). At our initial consultation, Abby reiterated and emphasized over and over, “I’m here to make you less stressed, this will be the easiest part of your wedding!” And, let me tell you, it was. She prepared all of our music and had recommendations for us whenever we needed an extra hand. When my husband and I decided to do a non-traditional first dance, Abby was there right with us, helping us every inch of the way. Not to mention, Abby shined even when it came to the small stuff. Like always being on time and sending out messages to keep me updated. Towards the end, I couldn’t keep anything straight and Abby always had me on my toes.

 

She took care of “running the show” at the reception and made sure guests knew what was going on and what to expect next. Whether it was big or small, she always came through for us.Another important factor, a wedding is expensive. But, Abby is affordable and you get every bang for your buck! Some of the DJ services in the Coulee Region start their prices several hundred dollars higher then Abby’s most expensive package. But don’t be fooled, she ranks just as high in quality as they do. I think all brides and grooms can appreciate an honest, outstanding, and affordable DJ!

 

In addition, Abby had top-of-the-line “DJ-ing” equipment. She provided us with lights to shine up the reception space—which really do add a great touch. The quality of her music and audio is unsurpassed. And, an additional feature that was very appreciated was that she provided our wedding party with a cordless microphone for all speeches (a touch my husband and I had not thought of). She truly does an exceptional job!Lastly, and to me, most importantly, Abby personalized her services for us. I am a 90’s child at heart and she went out of her way to play songs my wedding party and myself really enjoyed. With these tactics, she kept the dance floor packed all night long!

 

People continually commented, “Krista, it’s like she knows every single one of your favorite songs!” It was truly exceptional. She also went above and beyond for our grand march. Our wedding had a Chicago Cubs theme and she was able to find and play the song the team plays when they win called “Go Cubs Go.” It was a hit and perfect for the overall feel of our entire day!

 

I would gladly take the scrapes, blisters, and pulled muscles all over again to experience the joy and happiness my husband and I had on the dance floor that night! Abby didn’t miss a beat the whole evening (Pun intended!) and we are SO thankful she was a special and key part of our wedding! Abby was so wonderful to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional and was more than helpful from start to finish. She was able to answer all of my questions with ease and was willing to help in every way possible! Not only did Abby DJ our reception, but she also provided the sound equipment for our ceremony. She coordinated everything with the guitarist and it all sounded beautiful! Additionally, she worked behind the scenes with my parents to provide a special gift of music during the ceremony. Abby Brueggen of Abster's DJ Service is professional, courteous, and fun! I first learned about Abby at an event for school at UW- La Crosse. Abby catered to the college age crowd at the event playing the music you would often here at clubs, bars, or on the radio. My husband and I decided to book Abby not only because of her professionalism but for her price as well. Abby showed her professionalism to us by sending us a contract immediately to show her products and services. She was also easy to get a hold of whether it was by phone, e-mail, or social network. She answered all my questions about the contract and explained things in detail if it wasd needed. On the wedding day, Abby was incredibly courteous and fun. A few people requested minor tweaks to her services during the dinner and she willingly obliged. Once the traditional "first dance" songs were over, she kept the dance floor PACKED with people exhibiting high energy, and lots of fun. I had so many people coming up to me asking who our DJ was and where she was from. I was happy to share the information with them as they said she was one of the best DJ's they had heard in a long time. My favorite part of Abby's services was how personal she made things for us. She asked for a song list including songs to play and songs NOT to play. She also asked us (the bride and groom) what our likes and dislikes were and did her best to cater to those. My absolute favorite part of the night was when Abby incoporated something into our playlist that not only reflected who we are as a couple but who we are amongst friends. Abby played a rendition of "Hey Baby" as performed by the Screaming Eagles Marching Band from UW-La Crosse. The tradition of this song in the band was transferred into the reception where marching band members in attendance, along with others serenaded the bride. I was just so amazed how personal she made the moment, especially as she could have chosen the original version of "Hey Baby" but instead chose a song that we had a real connection to. Overall, I can't say enough things about Abby Brueggen of Abster's DJ Service. She is an outstanding human being and one incredible DJ. For the price and the experience, I would BOOK HER immediately. You seriously WON'T regret it.
